ANY content you put out should attract your ideal customer to your business.

In addition, when your audience and customers start to see that you are consistently publishing content across platforms, they may come to see you as a leader in the industry. Creating this connection with your ideal audience also increases conversions by giving them what they need to make an informed purchasing decision, you’re essentially educating them on why they should buy from you every single time you put out content.

To ensure your content is optimized for conversions, be sure to include a clear call-to-action. Your CTA tells the reader what they need to do next, guiding them to the next step in the conversion process. Whether converting means making a purchase, getting more information, or contacting you, it’s important to make it clear to the reader within the content what you want them to do next.

But let’s start with the very formation of your content marketing plan. In my overview post about Content Marketing, step one is to create your content buckets. But what are they?

“What the heck is content buckets”, you ask?

Well, these are the core topics you’ll create content about.

All of your content buckets should:

💥  revolve around your expertise

💥  be relevant and of value to your ideal audience and customer

💥  be related to your product or service

You should have 2-5 different content buckets

Remember, the riches are in the niches. It’s OKAY to niche down!
